The Catholic parish church of St Francis Xavier in Düsseldorf-Mörsenbroich is a modern church building dating from the interwar period. It is situated directly on the Mörsenbroicher Ei. The parish of the same name has only existed in its current form since 1 January 2010, when it merged with the parishes of St Joseph and Zum Heiligen Kreuz in the Rath district. St. Francis Xavier was built in 1928–1929 to a design by the Düsseldorf architects Hans Tietmann and Karl Haake. The church was constructed from reinforced concrete and clad in red brick.
