The German-Indian jazz pianist Jarry Singla has found a kindred spirit in the Indian sarod virtuoso Pratik Shrivastav, with whom he has developed a universal musical language. The story of this collaboration began in Mumbai, where Jarry Singla set out in search of a ‘third space’ – a space beyond musical traditions and well-trodden ‘fusion paths’. What began as a musical experiment has developed into a deep artistic friendship that has been thrilling audiences on renowned stages for more than a decade.
