From England With Love

The successful London choreographer Hofesh Shechter and his up-and-coming company Shechter II are coming to Düsseldorf again, this time with their new show “From England with Love”. This ode to the country of Brexit also sheds light on its darker sides and at the same time traces its strong ties to deeply rooted traditions. “From England with Love” offers an insight into the heart and soul of this complicated country and traces the special energy of “Englishness”. As always, Shechter has compiled and composed the music for his choreography himself, confronting motifs of classical early music from England with hard rock music and avant-garde electronics.
