It’s a much-loved ritual that has long been an integral part of the festival: led by the spiritual joker Guru Dudu from Melbourne, groups of silent dancers take over the city, dancing and grooving their way through the streets. Equipped with Bluetooth headphones, the audience is treated to irresistibly danceable music and witty commentary on local landmarks, forming a cheerful party community. Inhibitions quickly melt away; choreographed by Guru Dudu, an ever-changing, delightfully quirky happening unfolds, somewhere between a flash mob, improvised dance theatre and trendy street dance. A great atmosphere is guaranteed and highly infectious.
