Useful information
about the performance

The world’s second leading contemporary circus company also hails from Australia and has appeared at the festival on several occasions: Gravity & Other Myths, or GOM for short, embodies its motto in its name and, with every new production, comes a step closer to realising the dream of defying gravity. “Ten Thousand Hours” playfully reminds the audience that behind breathtaking acrobatics lies not magic, but countless hours of hard work. The show is a tongue-in-cheek and perfectly choreographed ode to the long road to precision, offering inspiring insights into those ten thousand hours between rehearsal and perfection, until stumbling and wavering lead to success.

We are offering a “Down Under Special” for this event: if you purchase one ticket each for the “Eternity” and “Ten Thousand Hours” events, you will receive a 10% discount on the total price of both tickets. Please note that this discount cannot be combined with other offers.

Expert tip

The Clothesline

“Regular gasps and squeals of disbelief from the audience members behind me, and spontaneous applause from the audience throughout, reassure me that it is not just me who thinks some of the skills on display are unbelievable. This is an almost mind blowing level of skill on display and what can be achieved with a dedicated pursuit of perfection.”
