Tony Allen was a legendary Nigerian drummer who became famous through his work with Fela Kuti. He performed with A Night in Detroit at the Theatre Tent in 2012. Seun Kuti is a Nigerian musician (saxophone, vocals, composition) and bandleader. His father Fela Kuti, whose former band Egypt 80 he leads, is regarded as the founder of Afrobeat. He performed in the theatre tent at the Düsseldorf Festival in 2008.
