Two Indian productions were shown in Düsseldorf. The Manganiyar Seduction is a staged concert project with musicians from the province of Rajasthan by Roysten Abel. They performed in the theatre tent at the Düsseldorf Festival in 2011. Madhavi Mudgal is an award-winning Indian classical dancer known for her Odissi dance style. She performed with Samanvaya in the theatre tent at the Düsseldorf Festival in 2008.
