A voice that can do everything from soft and sweet to loud and powerful – touching and soothing, awakening and enthralling: Tossia Corman combines the sound aesthetics of jazz with the classic singer-songwriter style and prefers clear structures that leave room for improvisation. Supported by a band of long-time companions and musical sparring partners, she creates a sound that effortlessly meanders between pop, soul, jazz and hip-hop. The attitude of the iconic Kate Bush song “I said I would run up that Hill all by myself” is the common thread that runs through the Düsseldorf singer’s new, fourth album, which will be released in October 2024.
