The theatre collective Pièrre.Vers is a regular guest at the festival. Following its four-part cycle “Historification” and its examination of Nazi crimes in Düsseldorf, the theatre collective is now looking at right-wing violence and threats to democracy in Germany. Last year’s production “Dunkeldorf” made it onto the shortlist for the Theatertreffen 2024. Now director Christof Seeger-Zurmühlen and author Juliane Hendes are exploring conspiracy theories and their impact on our lives together in “Schaf sehen.”. How do you talk to someone who can no longer be reached with arguments? How do you react when loved ones spread completely absurd theories?
