The Düsseldorf duo “Tait La Ragazza” present their very own version of contemporary and soulful hip hop. Groove and samples accompany the interplay of vocals and rap. The ten songs on their debut album “Doana”, which was released in May, feature influences ranging from Kendrick Lamar to Travis Scott. The duo is primarily inspired by the origins of hip hop: Vinyls, sample machines and warm sounds characterise the soundscape. At the same time, poppy melodies, modern flows and lyrical reflections on the explosive topics of our time make their songs sound brand new. At the Düsseldorf Festival, the band will also provide insights into upcoming and previously unreleased tracks.
