It would be no exaggeration to describe the Mare Nostrum trio as the troika of European jazz: Sardinian trumpeter Paolo Fresu, French accordionist Richard Galliano and Swedish pianist Jan Lundgren joined forces 18 years ago and represent both the musical traditions of their respective home countries and modern international jazz that crosses borders and combines genres.
