Guitarist Philipp Wisser is a trained jazz musician, composer and sound engineer; his training took him to Essen, Düsseldorf and Boston at the renowned Berklee College of Music. As a guitarist, composer and bandleader with his quartet, he released his debut album “Just a Glimpse” in 2021, which was hailed as the “very first jazz cream” by “About Jazz” magazine. He is coming to the theatre bar with his quartet, which positions itself as follows: “We like structure and freedom. Jazz combines both like hardly any other art form and allows us to create unique moods that are well thought out and skilfully crafted.” The quartet presents the entire diversity of jazz, from the roots of bebop to the contemporary currents of modern jazz.
