Now the musicians have taken on Bach&#8217;s St Mark Passion, one of the most enigmatic works by the Cantor of St Thomas. Missing parts of the Passion will be supplemented with contemporary interludes by Caroline Shaw and Missy Mazzoli and with historical arrangements. The author J\u00fcrg Halter has written texts to accompany them, which he recites himself.
