Sharon Eyal ranks among the very best choreographers of our time; like Hofesh Shechter, she hails from the legendary Batsheva Dance Company. In 2025, she triumphed at the D\u00fcsseldorf Festival with her acclaimed production \u201cSoul Chain\u201d for tanzmainz. Now she returns with her current outstanding production \u201cDelay the Sadness\u201d for her own company S-E-D (Sharon Eyal Dance), which premiered at the last Ruhrtriennale and was frenetically celebrated. Eight dancers each develop their own unique energy and expressiveness; classical ballet figures flash into view and are immediately deconstructed; music, emotions and bodies merge.
