Nubya Garcia is part of the close-knit London jazz scene, which has been attracting international media attention since the late 2010s. She effortlessly blends jazz with elements of world music, classical music, and danceable, club-ready beats to create a sound that is entirely her own. The saxophonist and composer, who has Caribbean roots, received a classical education in violin and viola before devoting herself to the saxophone at the age of ten and studying jazz.
